Jesus Only Jesus

"Jesus Only Jesus" reminds us that Jesus is all that we need. John 14:6 says, Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." Jesus is our only way to God. We cannot get to God the Father by any other way. Not through Mohammad, Confucius, Buddha, nor even our own good works. Jesus is the only way! In addition, Jesus is the truth in the flesh. God sent His Word through Jesus as the absolute truth. We are all searching for truth. Look to only Jesus! Last, but not least, Jesus is the life. He came to give eternal life to us who were dead in our sin! Not only did Jesus give eternal life, but He also gave abundant life. Jesus does not want us to live a dull and boring life. Instead, He promises to give us a life full of meaning and purpose! All that we need is Jesus, only Jesus!

No One Higher

"And Lord we stand amazed in Your presence
Astounded by Your mercy and love
Our hands are lifted high in surrender
Your grace for me is always enough
And there is no one higher than our God
There is no one higher than our You"


In this song, "No One Higher," we are reminded that God is supreme over all creation. As Colossians 1:15-20 states, Jesus is the supreme authority. Everything exists because of Him. Without Jesus, nothing would exist. In addition, these verses state that everything was created FOR Him. In all that we do, let's be mindful that we should do it for Christ's glory. Jesus is also the head of the church. Since the church is Jesus's hands and feet on Earth, He directs the church to do His will. So, today, be in awe of God being the supreme Lord over all. There is no one higher than Him!
